In the state of West Virginia, Family Preservation Services of West Virginia, Inc., and Ross Innovative Employment Solutions provide services as wholly owned subsidiaries of Providence.
Established in 1992, FPS of West Virginia is licensed by the Department of Health and Human Resources, and is the largest provider of community based services in the area.
FPS of West Virginia provides a continuum of community, home- and school-based services to children, adolescents, adults and families through local, state and federal program initiatives. We work with state and local teams to identify needs and to make appropriate services available to rural and urban communities.

Since 2002, FPS of West Virginia has provided services in eight counties, with regional offices located in Romney and Moorefield. Services include individual and family therapy, counseling, behavior management, substance abuse counseling, basic living skills, targeted case management and group counseling.
Ross Innovative Employment Solutions (“Ross IES”) became part of the Providence network of providers in 2006 and is headquartered in Saint Clair, Michigan. Ross IES is a workforce development entity providing contract services under the federal Workforce Investment Act (WIA), Welfare-to-Work, and state and local workforce development programs in multiple states.
There are several objectives Ross IES seeks to reach while helping individuals to obtain meaningful employment. Ross IES works with job seekers to ensure that their employment opportunities are maximized. Ross IES also assists devoted workers in developing and enhancing their strengths. Ross IES also supports employers by connecting them to qualified workers and providing resources to retain valued workers.
